Directions for Use

• Administer orally according to your dog's body weight.
• Suitable for dogs weighing up to 35kg
• Dosage guide:
  • 20.1–35kg: 1 chew
  • 35.1–52kg: 1½ chews
  • 52.1–70kg: 2 chews
  • 70.1–87kg: 2½ chews
  • Over 87kg: 3 chews
• Repeat treatment every 3 months, or at the beginning of each season.
• Always weigh your dog before treatment to ensure the correct dose.

Controls

Drontal® effectively treats and controls:

• Roundworms: Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina
• Hookworms: Ancylostoma caninum, Ancylostoma braziliense, Ancylostoma ceylanicum, Uncinaria stenocephala
• Whipworms: Trichuris vulpis
• Tapeworms: Dipylidium caninum, Taenia spp., Echinococcus granulosus (Hydatid Tapeworm)
• Helps control the shedding of Giardia cysts.

Important Information

• Does not protect against heartworm. Use a separate heartworm preventative as recommended by your veterinarian.
• Dogs living in Hydatid tapeworm risk areas may require treatment every 6 weeks.
• If whipworm is a concern, your veterinarian may recommend more frequent treatment.
• If worm infestations persist, consult your veterinarian.
